Jonathan Davis has been nominated together with Ronnie James Dio (Heaven & Hell), Neil Fallon (Clutch), Izzy Hale (Halestorm), Serj Tankian (System of a Down) and Corey Taylor (Slipknot, Stonesour) for a Golden God award for best vocalist.
There are six nominees to each Golden Gods category. People can vote for their favorite here
The winners in all categories will be announced at the Revolver Golden God Awards show at Club Nokia in Los Angeles on April 8th.
The show will be broadcasted on May 22 at VH1 Classic.

KoRn to appear on Dean Guitars' Webcast

KoRn members would appear on DeanGuitars' Live From Namm, Blabbermouth reports.
Korn members, among with members from Megadeth, Hellyeah, Arch Enemy and others, would be part of the line up of the upcoming 2010's Dean Guitars Webcast, that would be hosted by Metal Sanaz and MTV2' Headbangers Ball's host, Jose Mangin.
The Dean Guitars Webcast will be the perfect place to take a look in the new instruments by Dead Guitars, included the Deceiver series of guitars and the "Zero" signature by Dave Mustaine.
The webcast would take place from Jan 15th to 17th 2010. Webcast would star at 10 am and finish at 6pm (PST) Stay tuned to the official webcast site for further news.

New Date on KoRn's 2010 Tour

KoRn will visit Venezuela on 2010 as part of the Solid Fest 2010, KoRnMex reports.
According to mexican fansite KoRnMex, the band will visit Venezuela in 2010 as part of the second edition of Solid Fest, a festival that includes pop and urban acts in different days.
KoRn will headline the Rock Day on January 28th. The event will take place on the Hipodromo La Rinconada from 28th to 31st.
The band, was previously rumored to be a part of the 2010's Rockstar Mayhem Festival, among with Slipknot and others.
This is the first official tour date of 2010 for Korn, and the second time that the band will be in Venezuela.
Their previous visit was in March of 2002, as part of the Untouchables Tour.
Support acts would be announced soon.

Brian Welch inks with WME

New updates on William Morris Endeavor Entertainment, confirmed that former KoRn's guitarist Brian Welch is working on a new album.
Recent reports revealed that William Morris Endeavor Entertainment. has inked an international representation contract with former KoRn's guitarist Brian "Head" Welch.
The agreement, according to WME, is for the next three years and the responsible of the managment would be Ember Rigsby Tanksley.
WME revealed that Brian Welch and his band, are in a studio in Nashville recording a new album with Grammy-nominated producer Rob Graves, that probably would be done in February/March 2010.
"I am very excited with the agreement with WME..." Welch says. "..and is a honor be represented for one of the biggest representation agencies. I'd like to thank Ember Rigsby Tanksley for believe in what I do. I feel like this is the last piece of the puzzle, so we can reach what we really want"
Also, WME reported that Brian Welch is writing a new book, but it's unsure what title would it have or when would be released.

Repeater's vocalist, Steve Krolikowski, would be the new singer on the James Shaffer's solo project, Fear and The Nervous System.
Steve Krolikowski, lead singer of the Long Beach's rock band Repeater, has been working on the same studio where KoRn were recording their upcoming album.
Krolikowski was recording the vocal parts for the Fear and The Nervous System's debut album.
Premium users of KoRn.com, were available to see the recording sessions of the new album.
Munky also revealed that the upcoming FATNS album probably would feature 12 songs.
